"I’m really excited to be working in collaboration with dedicated VCSE leaders, other CVSs and statutory partners to strengthen health and care in a way that truly serves our communities, together we’re building up the support and resources our communities need. It’s inspiring to see what we can accomplish together when there is a shared commitment and vision, and I look forward to seeing what we continue to build to better serve and connect with people who rely on us."

How does the healthcare system work?

Understanding how the Integrated Care System (ICS) works can seem complex, but it's all about creating a seamless and collaborative approach to healthcare. The ICS brings together different healthcare providers, community organisations, and local authorities to deliver coordinated care. By fostering partnerships and streamlining services, the ICS aims to improve patient outcomes, enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery, and ensure that everyone in our community has access to the care they need. Watch this short video to learn more about what the ICS means for south east London's residents.
