NHS Patient Entrepreneur Programme
Applications for Cohort 4 of the NHS Patient Entrepreneur Programme (PEP) will open on 19th October 2026 and close on 20th November 2026.
The programme is a free, 12-month learning and development programme for patients, service users and carers who have used their lived experience to develop a healthcare innovation. Delivered through the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and supported by NHS England, it is designed to help participants develop their ideas, build skills and connect with others working to improve health and care through innovation.
Participants will have access to:
- CPD-accredited learning and development sessions covering innovation and healthcare entrepreneurship
- Mentoring and expert-led clinics
- Support with business planning, innovation funding and pitching opportunities
- A supportive and inclusive community of innovators
For anyone interested in applying, an application preparation and information webinar will take place on 15 October 2026, from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. The session is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the programme and gain a better understanding of the application process.
