Her work focuses on empowering individuals and families to overcome social, educational, and systemic barriers through advocacy, guidance, and access to meaningful opportunities.

With academic qualifications in Law and Human Rights Advocacy, Lara combines legal knowledge with extensive frontline experience supporting vulnerable individuals and neurodiverse families. She has worked closely with communities, professionals, and service providers to help families navigate complex systems and secure the support they need. Under her leadership, Excel Beyond Barriers has continued to develop programmes and initiatives that promote inclusion, wellbeing, and community empowerment.
